A Legacy of Collaboration and Influence

J Sparks' production prowess fueled the success of RDC, a Congolese-American hip-hop group he co-founded in D.C., featuring Y-O, Sap, J-Lou, Prince Easy (Sparks' younger brother), and Gonzo. The group released three celebrated albums before disbanding, leaving an indelible mark on the underground scene.

Sparks later spearheaded City Limits Ent., a collective led by the celebrated MoEazy team, including MoEazy, Zeezo, Sho J, and Robert O. During this time, Sparks’ production evolved, achieving industry-level acclaim while pushing lyrical and musical boundaries.
